Fellow John Waite fans and collectors,
After having searched the globe for a comprehensive John Waite-discography,
I finally realised there wasn't any! Imagine my frustration… However,
thanks to various Internet resources and the excellent "No Brakes" fanzine
I soon made contact with other fans of Mr. Waite's eminent music. We started
discussing the contents of our collections and then came the time when we
thought it would be a great idea to display the information we had gathered
to the world - thereby realising a dream I had been nursing for a great
number of years. That's when I met Mr. EB Stone at johnwaite.com, and
here we are...
I would like to extend my warmest thanks to ALL the people who have
supplied information, particularly my Dutch friends Adri Steenland and
Marian Lindhout - simply the most dedicated, generous and wonderful
people imaginable. Thanks for all the rare scans and intriguing
correspondence! Really, this is a team effort more than anything else.
However, in no way is this project completed - it's just an initial
attempt to create a world wide JW-discography. It can only grow at a
noticeable pace with the help from fellow Waite - fans and collectors
around the world. Thus, I would like to kindly invite anyone who may
have information about recordings not covered by this section to please
contact me, and hopefully the most obvious gaps may be eliminated quickly.
